Tales of the Echo Isles
I've had the idea of bringing the storytelling rp back to SSL for quite some time now, and what better suits such events than a guild aimed at collecting and preserving knowledge?
So, this is going to be a monthly event taking place on the last day of each month (starting next Wednesday, October 31th) at presumably 20:00 server time (subject to change). As you've most likely guessed already, the place is the Echo Isles, troll starting zone.
What do you have to do to participate? It's rather simple, really. You just sit by the fire and listen to people telling stories, or tell your own. Anything will do, from ancient myths and religious parables to your character's personal experience with that covetous goblin innkeeper. Just remember that your goal is to entertain your listeners, not bore them to death. Free food and drinks will be provided by the host Even though bringing your story is desirable, you don't necessarily have to. Just come anyway, have a drink with us, and have a good time!
Couldn't make it to the meeting, even though you wanted to? No worries, you won't miss a thing. I'll be posting all the stories here, on our forums. Besides, there's always next month!
